Job Title: Caretaker (Low-Rise & Mobile)

Rate: £90.35 per day
Overview:
We are currently seeking a reliable and proactive Caretaker to join our team in Thurrock. This role will primarily involve maintaining low-rise residential buildings, alongside some mobile caretaking duties across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out general cleaning and upkeep of communal areas in low-rise buildings
- Ensure outdoor spaces are clean, tidy, and free from hazards
- Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance issues
- Report repairs and health & safety concerns promptly
- Undertake mobile caretaking duties across various locations as required
- Manage waste disposal areas and ensure proper use by residents
- Provide a visible and approachable presence for residents
Requirements:
- Previous caretaking, cleaning, or facilities experience preferred
- Full UK driving licence (essential for mobile duties)
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Good communication and basic reporting skills
- Strong awareness of health and safety practices
